Be sure to have your pet vaccinated against canine parvovirus.
We are seeing too much of this disease this year.
Canine parvovirus type 2 (CPV-2) is a highly contagious and serious
disease. It is spread by direct dog-to-dog contact and contact
with contaminated feces, environments or people.

The dog adoption application will open with Adobe Reader. 
Dogs Win with Kennel
Sponsors
Kennel Sponosorships now available for
individuals or groups! It's a great way to support the HHS, and
one animal in particular. For about $1.50 a day, or $500 for a
full year, you can make sure that the animal in "your kennel" is
safe, healthy and happy! Your genorosity is recognized with a
sign naming you as the sponsor. Your animal will be spayed or
neutered, featured on the web and in the Alpena News, and will
be given a special toy "just because." If you, on your own, or with a club
or even the people you work with, will help a special shelter
