The Barn

When you pull up, you’ll see a big metal barn. This is just for storage - though we’d like to turn it into a play and training arena |
In the Lobby

We have a growing retail display of collars and leashes, food, and dog training DVDs and Puppy Kits. You’ll see some shelter cats with Cindi in the office, and you might meet Katie, too. |
Caged Cat Room
 |
Cats in this room are healthy and adoptable. Most often they are just waiting to be spayed or neutered before moving to the cat colony. In the meantime, we make the cages cozy as possible. |
Cage-free Cat Colony

Opened in late spring of 2005. About 30 cats live here. They love it! |
Colony Close-ups

Here, adoptable colony cats enjoy donated cat trees (from Cat Tree Creations) and a comfy, converted cabinet. We don't have much, but we make the best of what we get! |
The Dog Room
 |
We have two rooms which hold 19 dog kennels. Normally every kennel is full, but we’ve had to evacuate and close seven of the runs for repairs, repainting and resealing of the concrete to keep it up to MI Department of Agriculture code in March 2006. |

Each dog gets his own bed and play time in the yard daily. Volunteers are always welcome! We give toys, bones and chewies as often as donations allow us to. The dogs sure love them!  |
